Inaugural Lecture with Professor Martin Drews

Professor Martin Drews: Challenges and potentials for managing climate change risks with a focus on extreme events

 

On March 21 Professor Martin Drews had his inaugural lecture at DTU Management!

We are beginning to live the climate changes consequences, including increased frequencies of what used to be low probability climate and weather events with high impacts on communities, infrastructure and the environment.

In his inaugural lecture, Martin talked about recent advances in projecting climate risks and their consequences using different methods, including novel machine learning techniques, while highlighting how these can help inform adaptive and climate resilient pathways.
